Our mission at Serenity First is to provide convenient, accessible and timely access to mental health care. Every person is different, which means they deserve a personalized treatment approach. The first step to creating an individualized plan is developing a strong provider-client relationship. With that trust in place, we help clients to feel empowered on their journey to growth and change.

Kimberly Quinn, MSN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC

Kimberly Quinn is a board certified Family and Psychiatric NP with expertise in out-patient (office), in-patient (hospital), and homeless shelter experience providing psychiatry and addiction services. She graduated from the University of Maine in 2006 with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and a minor in psychology. Earning a master’s degree in the science, family nurse practitioner track from Old Dominion University in Norfolk Virginia in 2011, Kimberly became a Certified Family NP in 2012. She worked in outpatient office settings and in-patient psychiatric settings doing family practice until 2016 when she began working in hospital psychiatric care. This experience sparked her interest in doing psychiatry full time.

Continuing her advanced education, Kimberly graduated from the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, MA in December 2020 with a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Degree (PMH-NP). Two years later she opened Serenity First in the Commonwealth. In her private practice, she enjoys helping individuals receive personalized mental health care and has a particular interest in treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, adult ADD.
